Sam fronted the first RPA programme rollout in New Zealand some three years ago and has continued to make a footprint in the local RPA industry.
In 2005 Sam migrated to New Zealand, which she now calls home. Her experience locally and in the UK, has seen her lead teams of people and manage complex programmes for high profile organisations in health, transport and logistics, telco and financial services.
Sam has, over 15 years helped businesses achieve transformational change, by connecting technical and business teams within organisations to best leverage technology for both business and customer outcomes. At Virtual Blue she also focuses on building client relationships with the utmost transparency, open communications and multilevel stakeholder engagement, creating strong ecosystem networks and educating the wider business community on the emerging technologies around RPA and AI.
Empowering people has always been Sam’s business ethos. She’s a standout leader and authentic best describes her.
Worthy note… Sam is proud to have started her career in a contact centre – on the phone, front line helping customers. This experience she says enlightened her in terms of how frustrating it can be to see a better way of doing things, both for the business and the consumer, and not be able to affect that change. Now with Virtual Blue she is in a position to do that, for real!
Sharyn has been helping New Zealand businesses with their RPA journey for two and a half years; implementing software platforms as well as advising on the other key capabilities that lead to business transformation. Her 15 years’ plus experience specialising in business process re-engineering, business improvement, leadership, project and change management, has provided her with an outstanding skill set.
With her knowledge from working across sectors, such as banking, telco through to education, at Virtual Blue the scope of what Sharyn does is pretty wide. Her focus ranges from pre-sales - including demonstrating the technical capability of the technologies - consulting and strategy, through to full delivery. Sharyn also works with clients to discover the specific RPA and AI opportunities that will successfully deliver on their current to future business strategies.
Sharyn has international experience working in the UK. From an organisation’s perspective, she can decipher the complexity of their different business models, whilst coming from the approach that for their customers a single experience can shape their perception of the entire business
Worthy side note… Sharyn is about to complete her BSc in Psychology. As an adult student, she says it has been a challenging but worthwhile journey, and it goes to show age should never be a barrier to gain new knowledge. The skills from her degree have enabled her to apply them to everyday life, and to help her to better understand the demands of clients and businesses.
